Requirements:

Native in French, with a deep understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

Teaching experience or relevant language instruction qualifications preferred.

Enthusiastic, patient, and approachable demeanor, inspiring a love for language learning in students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

Must have a US work visa.

Volunteers for Events
If you are interested in helping the Alliance Française development, we regularly seek volunteers for cultural events.
We would contact you few weeks before the event to ask you if you are available. French speakers, French learners or with no French at all, everybody is welcome to volunteer !

Volunteers for our Summer Camp
The Alliance Française de Houston is offering volunteer opportunities for individuals aged 16 and older.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with camp activities during our Summer Camp, which runs weekly from June 16 through August 1st.
Volunteers must commit to a full week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one session.
As a volunteer, you will assist our teachers with a variety of fun and educational activities, including art projects, songs, and lunchtime supervision.
In appreciation for your hard work and dedication, volunteers will receive:

A complimentary year-long membership to the Alliance Française de Houston

A complimentary one-session class for volunteering during the 5-week summer camp
