Classes meet weekday mornings, afternoons or evenings,
or on Saturdays.
Our group classes meet in sessions of 7 weeks.
7-week tuition is $210-$220 for once-a-week classes and $295 for twice a week classes.
Our classes are small and our teachers are native speakers trained in teaching French as a foreign language. Whatever the level of your class, communication in French is the focus of your learning, which takes place in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. We strive to make learning French a fun adventure for our students

Kids Classes & Summer Camp!
Our children’s program immerses children ages 5-15 in the French language, allowing them to learn in a natural way, through visual, kinetic and auditive experience. Tuition is $210 for the 7-week session. Classes meet weekdays and Saturday mornings for 90 minutes, online and in person. NOTE: A limited number of classes for parents are also offered on Saturday mornings.

During the summer, we offer summer camps, Monday – Thursday, 3 weeks in June and 3 weeks in July. Classes are small (4-10 students) and our teachers are French native speakers trained in teaching French as a foreign language. Whatever the level of your class, communication in French is the focus. Our program immerses children ages 4-16 years in the French language, allowing them to learn in a natural way, through visual, kinetic and auditive experience.
Teenager Classes
We also offer teen classes at the Alliance for those who are no longer kids but not quite adults! It’s a perfect place to connect, learn and practice with some of the other teens here in Houston!
Our summer camp for teens will have the same dates as our Kids Classes above.

French Classes
Beginner Level 1 Even as a total beginner, you’ll start to speak French from day one with the innovative communicative approach.
Beginner Levels 2 through 4 You may have studied French in the past. With a little help from your teacher, your skills will develop.
Intermediate Levels 1 through 4 You may have acquired a survival level and had some opportunity to use your French. Now you’re ready to immerse yourself a bit further and acquire a good working knowledge of the language. The classes listed through this level use the Method “Alter Ego+1” and at the completion of these classes, the student will achieve the level A1 in the Common European and ACTFL standards.
Advanced Levels 1 through 3 You have a good working knowledge of French, and now want to work on expanding your knowledge and abilities. The completion of the classes at this level will lead you to level A2 in the Common European and ACTFL standards.
Conversation and Specialty Classes: Vous parlez français? L’art et la littérature vous intéressent? …Ou peut–être le français d’affaires? Vous désirez continuer à affiner votre niveau de langue orale et écrite. Niveaux B1-2, C1.
Children’s Classes: Our children’s program immerses children ages 5-15 in the French language, allowing them to learn in a natural way, through visual, kinetic and auditive experience. Tuition is $210 for the 7-week session. Classes meet Saturday mornings at 9:30 or 11:15 AM for 90 minutes. NOTE: classes for parents are also offered on Saturday mornings. Ask in the office for availability. In addition, Tuesday after-school classes, 4:30-6:00 pm, for children are offered.

Private and Semi-private Lessons: For those who prefer to work one-on-one with a teacher, or whose schedule requires more flexibility. These classes may be customized to fit your specific goals. Minimum contract is 5 hours. $55 per hour for one student. Semi-private: – $45.00/hour/student,
French at Your Desk: For professionals who prefer instruction at their office, and companies considering an on-site language training course. $60 per hour, with discounts for longer contracts and more students.
For group classes, members and seniors receive a $10 discount per session. There is also a $10 discount for early registration in continuing group classes. Please register before the first day of class, as many classes fill up before the session begins. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 for new students ($15 for children.)
